Rev. Joey Hawkins
Joey joined the HPFBC staff in 2004 as the Associate Pastor/Minister to Students/Singles. He attended Clear Creek Baptist Bible College, in Pineville, Ky. , where he received a BA in Biblical Studies with a Pastoral emphasis. A native of Anderson County, Joey grew up in the small town of Starr.. Joey entered into an eternal relationship with Christ on May 15, 1980 and surrendered to the full time ministry in 1997. Joey is very passionate about the calling God has placed on his life. His desire is to lead young people of all ages, races, and backgrounds into a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Once that happens, he wants to do all he can, under the leadership of the Holy Spirit, to help them grow in and understand that relationship. He and his wife Gena have four children: Brett, Ike, Hunter and Lagen. |
