Sam Dickerson, Associate Pastor and Minister of Music / Adults Sam was born in Greenville, SC on October 24, 1956. He grew up there, attending Washington Avenue Baptist Church throughout his early life. He was saved on July 20, 1974 at a summer youth camp. He graduated from Carolina High School in 1974, North Greenville College in 1976, and Liberty Baptist College, Lynchburg, Va. in 1980. He is married to the former Debra Treadway, and they have two children, Jared, and Joanna. He has served several churches in upstate South Carolina, including Riverside Church in Greer, Washington Baptist Church, Ware Place, where he was ordained to the ministry, Whitefield Baptist Church, Belton, and East Pickens Baptist Church, Pickens.
He has been Associate Pastor of Music and Adults at Honea Path First Baptist Church since February of 2002.
